29th Nov 08 - Wargrave 1-1 Tilehurst (League Cup League)
Tilehurst were unlucky not to get their first win in this game afetr totally dominating the majority of the game.
The Panthers hit first with Gabby's first of the season midway through the half, but failed to extend their lead missing a hat-full of chances.
In second half Tilehurst again had more chances to wrap things up, but with one of Wargrave's few attacks they levelled in off the post to make it 1-1.
Tilehurst could complain about many ref decisions in the second half (almost all actually), but to be fair they had enough chances to win 3 or 4 games. Players of the match went to Gabby and Hannah this week.

22nd Nov 08 - Tilehurst 0-4 Kennet Valley (League Cup League)
Tilehurst were beaten 4-0 this week by top of the League Cup Leaders Kennet Valley.
Panthers played well for the majority of the first half and were unlucky not to have taken the lead on a couple of occassions, but simple lapses of concentration cost them 2 goals before the break.
Two more followed in the second half as Kennet showed their superiority.
Shanisha, Hannah and Abi all had good games, but were unable to deal with the brilliance of one Kennet Valley player in particular - she was the main difference between the sides.
Player of the match went to Abi for an all round solid display despite Tilehurst conceeding four.

15th Nov 08 - Thatcham 3-1 Tilehurst (League Cup League)

8th Nov 08 - Cold Ash 6-3 Tilehurst (League Cup League)
Best display by Tilehurst thus far, but they couldn't find the goal they needed in the first half after being by far the better side.
Paris notched up her second hat-trick of the season, but poor defending cost them and it ended 6-3.

1st Nov 08 - Tilehurst 0-5 South Reading
Not much to tell about this game.
Tilehurst actually played better than the previous week, but failed to contain South Reading again and paid the price.
Leoni won player of the match for a tireless effort.

25th Oct 08 - South Reading 7-3 Tilehurst
Tilehurst travelled to South Reading this week and despite a hat-trick from Paris they were unable to get anything from the game losing 7-3.
Bad defending a handball penalty contributed to the majority of the goals against Tilehurst.
Despite the shocking defeat Leoni and Paris both had outstanding games going forward which was encouraging.
Player of the match went to Paris for a superb hat-trick.

18th Oct 08 - Tilehurst 0-1 Kennet Valley
Tilehurst fought hard in this bottom of the table clash but struggled to breakdown a hard working Kennet Valley side
. A single mistake in Tilehurst's defence lead to a single goal in the dying seconds which won the game for Kennet.
Player of the match went to Leoni who worked tirelessly throughout the game.

27th Sep 08 - Wargrave 2-0 Tilehurst
Tilehurst travelled to fellow strugglers Wargrave but were unable to get their first points on their travels and ended up losing 2-0. The game was won and lost in the first half with Wargrave scoring twice, the second from a poorly defended corner. The second half was much more of an even battle with chances both ends, but no further goals leaving Wargrave 2-0 winners. Player of the match for Tilehurst went to Shanisha, who was pretty much involved in everything good for the visitors.

20th Sep 08 - Theale 5-1 Tilehurst
League leaders Theale proved to be too good for 'new girls' Tilehurst beating them 5-1 to remain stong favorites for the league.
Theale were strog and organised and the inexperience of Tilehurst showed as Theale cruised to a 3-0 lead at the halfway mark.
Tilehurst battled back in the second half and grabbed a goal when Shanisha beat the keeper to a lose ball to poke home, but that was as far as the comeback went and Theale bagged two more good goals to run out 5-1 winners.
Tilehurst's man of the match went to Karly in goal who despite conceeding a few, made some briliant saves at key moments.

13th Sep 08 - Tilehurst 1-1 Thatcham
In Tilehurst's first ever game they produced a fine display drawing 1-1 with Thatcham Town.
Thatcham scored first from a superb solo effort when just before the break their striker beat two players and smashed home from close range against the run of play.
Tilehurst's player of the match Abi levelled the scores midway through the second half with an excellent long range effort.
Although both teams pushed for a win, the scorelines remained the same.
