|Boyne Hill||1|| - ||2||Tilehurst Panthers|
Boyle Hill started the game better in the 1st half and had us under the cosh for most of it. Emma, Becks, Becky and Elle Mai did well to keep them out, until they scored their goal from a ball across behind our defense which was tucked in on 15 mins,by (Shannon) their striker. Our midfield was being overrun by their midfield and they were getting at us down our flanks. The girls dug in and had a Nora goal disallowed wrongly for offside.
The Encouraging signs for the 2nd half were that Charlie was giving their defense a lot of trouble in the last 10 minutes of the 1st half. We finished the half strongly.
We began the 2nd half stronger and decided to have Charlie and Emma in midfield because of their strong running and we caused them problems, we just could not put away the chances that we created.
If we had our shooting boots on the score line could have been different. Our goal was scored by Caitlin in the 50th minute after Tilehurst pressure caused panic in the Boyne Hill penalty area.
Boyne Hill on occasions were breaking quickly and Elle Mai was quick off her line on several occasions, as well as staunch defending by all the girls. The winning was scored with 2 minutes to go, a quick break down the left flank and a ball across the defense that was tucked in about 12 inches in front of goal by Shannon (2). We did have a chance in the last minute in their penalty area in front of goal but the shot went agonisingly wide. Overall a very good game. At the end their Coach said that we were the best team that they have played this season and he said that Charlie was a handful and led the line well.
Our player of the Match was Charlie, but it was close. A special mention for Elle Mai in Goal, Emma- her usual marauding style intercepting and breaking up attacks of the other team.

|Wargrave Girls Sparks||1|| - ||2||Tilehurst Panthers|
1st half- (Game kicked off 15 mins late due to Cup game that went into extra time)
The game started off with Wargrave having the best of 10-15 mins whilst we were finding our feet. They scored on 15 mins. We were under pressure but our defense unit of Emma, Becky and Bex and Elle-Mai in Goal were strong in defense and Elle made some crucial saves. We sent Emma up in penalty area for a corner on 30 min and her presence caused an own goal by Wargrave. We had the better of final 5 mins until half time. Charlie had chance to make it 2-1 just before half time but with only keeper to beat hit her shot just wide.
After the first few minutes Wargrave came at us hard, but after that we took control of the game and were the better team. The midfield of Georgia, Ella, Caitlin with Charlie up front caused their midfield and defense a lot of problems with strong running and we had a lot success down their left hand side. We scored the winning goal from a through ball which Charlie lashed in from 15 yards. The final 10 mins with the girls tiring (because of no subs) they all defended superbly, Emma with her strong running with the ball eased the pressure.
The defense was outstanding and Bex was awarded Player of the Match for her strong tackling and covering, which was deserved after her long lay off. Elle Mai pulled off a great save in the last few minutes to keep the final score at 2-1. Everyone agreed that it was their best performance so far as a unit against a good (tall and robust) Wargrave team.

|Tilehurst Panthers||10|| - ||0||Caversham AFC|
Although Caversham put up a much more robust display today creating a few good chances, it we Tilehurst who prevailed with another tidy performance, playing well as a unit.
First half goals from Nora, Georgia, Lucy, Caitlin & Charlie set them on their way to a 5-0 HT lead , and the second half saw an equal scorline with Caitlin getting two more to complete her hat-trick, Georgia got her second, Elle Mai and Ella (first goal for the team/club) completed the victory.
Caitlin was vying for the player of the match with her hat-trick, but Ella just pipped her capping of all action display and ball winning display in midfield, with a goal.
Special mention for Gary who took the girls through their warm up routines.

|Caversham AFC||0|| - ||14||Tilehurst Panthers|
A really boggy pitch contributed to an average football spectacle but one that Tilehurst controlled mostly throughout.
The first half was quite even in truth but Tilehurst took their chances whereas Caversham couldn't find the back of the net.
In the second half however Tilehurst took control and despite a completed reshuffle and the last 10 being played 11 v 9 Tilehurst ran out comfortable winners.
Player of the match went to Georgia with a superb all round performance and 4 goals also.

A close game between these two sides but Tilehurst should have taken the points have a couple of good chances to score. Player of the match went to Olivia who was one of a few players to shine today.

|Tilehurst Panthers||2|| - ||2||Wargrave Girls Warriors|
Not the best footballing match you'll see today.
Nora grabbed the first goal of the game on 5 minutes but from then on sat back and let Wargrave play. They equalised midway through the half, but withe seconds running out in the half Charlie found space to smash home her forth in three matches.
Second half was a non event for Tilehurst really.
They lacked any real conviction and their passing wasn't anywhere near it's best and Wargrave grabbed the equlaiser with some good passing of their own.
Tilehurst had plenty of chances to win this but were thwarted at every occasion by the Wargrave keeper who made a string of good saves.
Player of the match went to Georgia who lead the line in work rate and effort that many others lacked.

|Tilehurst Panthers||2|| - ||2||Thatcham Tornadoes|
Another tough match and great result against a team who should be winning this league hands down.
As I wasn't at the game for this one then I'll refer you to Tornadoes report.
The correction regarding the penalty that was re-taken was due to the fact that our keeper stepped off their line before the ball was kicked .... so even the opposition didn't know what it was for!!
Regardless this was a great result and the girls showed fantastic character to come back from a goal behind and who probably should have taken the points too against a very average Thatcham team.

|Tilehurst Panthers||4|| - ||3||Laurel Park|
A superb result for Tilehurst against a Laurel Park side set to contest to top.
In a close match throughout that could have gone either way Tilehurst took all three points with some well taken goals.
